We engage in Reproductive Health and HIV Prevention through social behavioural change, communication, marketing of health products (Dume condoms, Salama) and engaging in all key health issues such as malaria, family planning, maternal and child health, TB and other. We engage to support community health programs at remote areas where people do not have access to the health facilities. Support base education and sexual rights. Develop immunization programs for venereal diseases and epidemics. Participating in organizing events for public health events along with government such as during special day’s example World Brea feasting day.Health and safety ( HSE):We have and continue to support safety programs with multinational company in our program ‘ make safety first’ where we provide trainings to diverse institutions at work place. Implementing of health and safety management systems and occupational health management systems formulation. COVID-19 URGENT SUPPORT COST FOR RENTING AMBULANCE SERVICES FOR PREGNANCY WOMEN – $ 2000
As COVID-19 Pandemic is increasing in Tanzania and suspension of some transport owners to stop providing transport services. Pregnancy women are at high risk to loss of life due to limited means of transport. Available transport services are private ambulance services from different companies charging price that poor pregnancy women can not afford. This program intends to support Pregnancy women in collaboration with Goba , Palestina, Kimara, Mwanayamala Hospital health workers to develop systems of tracking and regular communicate with pregnancy women and attend them in case of emergence. New Life Organisation will set a side fund that will help to pay ambulance charges for different routes to assist pregnancy women to access hospital in real time during this COVID-19 Pandemics so as to save lives of pregnancy women

COVID-19 Urgent SUPPORT 5000 WOMEN SMALLHOLDER FARMERS ARUSHA AND MOROGORO TO PRODUCE HORTCULTURE CROPS FOR EXPORTS AND MEETING LOCAL DEMAND – $ 12000
As COVID-19 Pandemic is increasing in Tanzania horticulture products for meeting local demands and for exports has declined substantially due to stay home, social distancing and closure of some input shops that provides agriculture pesticides and herbicides necessary for horticulture production. As the growing demand for vegetables such as amaratus , spinach , Chinese etc that 21-28 days with other horticulture products such as cucumber, ginger , tomatoe, are increasing at this COVID-19 Pandemics due to its ever demand for nutritious purposes. Large number of women who are producers are to be mobilised, trained, supported while maintaining COVID-19 measures such as social distancing by employing technologies and tools essentials for compliances. New Life Organisation is seeking support to work with women smallholder famers producer groups to continue producing horticulture crops to meet external and local demand during the pandemic.

The COVID-19 Cases is skyrocketing in Tanzania with threatening border region such as Kagera .Kagera region is bordered with Burundi country, Rwanda, and Uganda. Due to huge an authorised border roads. There are still people using that roads coming to Tanzania despite of lockdown. This poses significant risks for highly transmission .Kasharu ward which is in rural Bukoba which is among f high risk areas for transmission it is hard for health workers to visit and reach diversified and hard to reach communities due to limited transport. COVID-19 URGENT SUPPORT FOR LIFE-SAVING FOR 3000 SMALL SCALE WOMEN MINERS IN NYARUGUSU, SEKENKE TWO, MWAMAKONA MINING SITES – $ 3000
This program will enable health workers to train and equip most women small scale miners who are at risk working in Nyarugusu, sekenke 2 and Mwamashiga mining sites to be trained and equipped with necessary skills for preventive measures of COVID-19 Pandemics. Different services targeting mines are not available due to remoteness and risk environment in mines which undermines women to receive support. The program will run through a collaborative with women miners economic and self-help groups organised at miners. Women are at high risk due to have multiple job in mining sites that threat their exposure to risk of infection. New Life Organisation using it network of women small miners .

Street beggars who depend humanitarian support are now at treble serious risk of losing life due to loose some income from Samaritan in high cities of Dar es salaam, Mwanza, Dodoma, Arusha. These are already vulnerable and the dependence for pedestrian and other people to support them now with stay home, social distancing measures and other suspension of offices and shops these groups are lacking support to make their day. This program/project aim to support over 1000 single mother and elderly in Bukoba rural who have affected by the recent epidemic of COVID-19 . This will be done by packing and distributing about six food items ( oil, rice, flower, beans, sugar, salts) and toiletries ( toothpaste,soap,dish soap, and toilet-paper) packed in boxes and delivered.

Since COVID-19 became Pandemic diseases that also have increased number of patients that can be supported by health workers. Aids and other support has been in many cases not targeting health workers although have tremendous working diligently with high integrity .This health workers visit suspects inhouse quarantine to monitor health trends two time a day morning and evening. Due to lack of adequate facilities it is becoming difficult for health workers both at health centres and those visiting community to work. New Life Organisation in response is seeking fund to provide personal protective equipment for health workers, free mask, hand sanitizer and food pack ( lunch boxes) with water daily to motivate them and reduce time spending for securing lunch. This program is designed for Muhibili Hospital, Amana, and Mloganzila Dar es salaam.

The project will help widow, single mother parent women entrepreneur to build up materials to prevent the spread of COVID-19 for more than 2000 families in Dar es salaam and Tabora . The program will do a handwashing campaign and basic hygiene both persona and house. Build a homemade water trap through used PET bottles, teach them how to make soap so as for them to sale for low cost. New Life Organisation therefore seek support to purchase materials that will be used for training, demonstration and then materials sold to women widow and single parent entrepreneur who then will make soap and sale for community.

What is a coronavirus?
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans. In humans, several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The most recently discovered coronavirus causes coronavirus disease COVID-19.
What is COVID-19?

COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. This new virus and disease were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. COVID-19 is now a pandemic affecting many countries globally.
What are the symptoms of COVID-19?
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, dry cough, and tiredness. Some patients may have aches and pains, nasal congestion, sore throat or diarrhea. These symptoms are usually mild and begin gradually. Some people become infected but only have very mild symptoms. Most people (about 80%) recover from the disease without needing hospital treatment. Around 1 out of every 5 people who gets COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart and lung problems, diabetes, or cancer , are at higher risk of developing serious illness. However anyone can catch COVID-19 and become seriously ill. Even people with very mild symptoms of COVID-19 can transmit the virus. People of all ages who experience fever, cough and difficulty breathing should seek medical attention.
